I haven't had time recently to get, let alone read new books. So I haven't really racked up the books in the past few weeks of my absence, however, I have a super-duper awesomesauce older sister and she sent me a bunch of her old books! Here they are, and don't forget to share your haul and link up with Tynga @ Tynga's Reveiws  !

The End of Mr. Y : All of these books are a bit outside my usual, but I'm excited to try them! Mystery has always interested me so despite the chunky size of this one.

Her Fearful Symmetry: This one seems like it could end up being really weird in either a bad or a good way, so we shall see!

The 100-Year-Old-Man: This is a huge step outside my comfort zone, almost more than any of the others, but I thought I should give it a try and hope that it surprises me.

The Book of Tomorrow: I picked this one mostly because it sounded like buckets of fun.

Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.: I'm typically not into non-fiction or biographies but I love Breakfast at Tiffany's and Audrey Hepburn so I thought I'd give it a try.

I allowed myself one Liberty Bay Books spree trip yesterday and have come home with a respectable stack, so I'm linking up with Tynga @ Tynga's Reviws and sharing the glory! Don't forget to link up too, and share your thoughts and your haul in the comments below!

Althea and Oliver: This one was one of those round two picks. I saw it once and glanced over the synopsis and wasn't too impressed. The second time around I still wasn't that impressed, but I figured, hey what the heck, why not give it a shot. I'm only a few pages in but I'm really liking it so far.

Zodiac: This one didn't have much of a synopsis on the back but I picked it up anyways, not really knowing what it was about. I just read the synopsis on Goodreads and it sounds super cool. I don't read a lot of Sci-Fi  but Zodiac signs? How cool does that sound?

The Beige Man: As you probably know by now, I love crime novels and shows, so this one was a no brainer. I only now realized it is book SEVEN in a series. So, I'm just crossing my fingers that it will still make sense without the rest of the series.

Far From You: I loved the concept, and of course that cover. I enjoy stories with that whole, "no one believes me, everyone is against me" thing going on. (When it is done well/right.)

Midnight Thief: I've been hearing really great things about this one and it sounds really good. I love the occasional fantasy and the entire premise sounds simply epic. My one qualm, every time Kyra's abilities are mentioned in the synopsis, they are described as uncanny. There was an uncanny amount of uncanny being used.

Sorry this post is so late and that there haven't been posting more. School has officially taking over my life and even though I've spent 90% of my day doing homework (which was 95% of which was reading two textbooks) and I am still not even halfway done with it all.

I have also been not so fearlessly not vanquishing a newt that was living underneath a pair of socks on my floor. That basically consisted of me screaming bloody murder every time it so much as breathed and covering my eyes and screaming some more as my plucky, lion-hearted mother scooped it into a bucket and relocated it to the great outdoors. These newt, lizard, salamander things invade our house nonstop every fall, everyone (the small group of people I socialize with)  thinks I'm crazy because no one has ever heard of such a problem. Please tell me one of you guys out there have this problem or have heard of it at the very least!

I only grabbed a few books this week from Liberty Bay Book's stash, but I'm still linking up with Tynga @ Tynga Reviews. I was too tired to take pictures of them so I'm just using the cover images. 

This one has already come out and it has been on my TBR list since I was a Goodreads novice. I had forgotten about it until I saw it in the stack, but when I remembered I was instantly thrilled and re-intrigued. I mean really, look at that cover, how can you not be intrigued?

I have to bring up that cover. Is that not the most beautiful, romantic, wistful, whimsical, artistic cover ever? I know I've talked a lot about covers today but both of these books have covers that spark certain emotions which I find impressive. Now, about the book. I actually passed on I Remember You the first time I found it in the stacks because it is just a huge romance and it has hockey, neither of which are my kind of thing. The second time around I still had my doubts but then I thought, "Eh what the heck." and threw caution to the wind and decided to give it a fighting chance.

Thanks so much to Net Galley and Abrams for the e-ARC copy! I was highly intrigued by the synopsis for this one and the title is just lovely! I don't typically like historic fiction, but I have a soft spot for suffragists and the entire concept was compelling and unlike anything I've ever heard. Check it out on Goodreads.

Whop-de-doo it's time for another Stacking the Shelves post so I'm linking up with Tynga @ Tynga's Reviews again and I've finally made a new logo picture thing. It's not great, but I kind of forgot to make a new one until now so, it's gonna have to do for now. 

I got Neil Gaiman's Make Good Art Speech from my parents for my birthday because I love him and that specific speech.

I used my birthday Liberty Bay Books gift card to buy a copy of Inamorata from them. With my schedule I won't be able to finish it in time to go to the Wednesday night author event Liberty Bay Books is hosting, but I want to at least start it so that I know something going into the event, and can avoid making a total fool of myself.

I finally got a copy of Alice in Zombieland!  This one has been on my TBR list for eons and so I am thrilled to finally get my grubby little hands on it!

Poison  has been one that I knew I had to read since the very first time I saw it on Goodreads, and FINALLY I've remembered (and had the funds) to buy it.

I was picking books at Barnes and Nobel when I found Long Lankin  however I had already decided to buy a book of the same genre and opted for a fantasy book instead, vowing to use my other gift cards to someday obtain a copy of Long Lankin. This past weekend was that someday.

I also received that beauty from Net Galley and Capstone Young Readers. I'm super excited because it sounds like a really interesting ghost book and I don't read many of those. I read a lot of horror but not a lot of ghost books and this one sounds really different. Now I just need to figure out how to download it without the struggles of Adobe....

Thanks a billion to my mom and dad for the Neil Gaiman book AND for convincing me to let you guys buy me not one but THREE books at Powell's. You were right, it would have been a sin to walk away with any less, let alone one! Oh the shame! ;)

I have officially realized that the picture I use for these posts was made when I was young and ignorant and inexperienced (well more so than I am now), and that it looks extremely awkward.

...Yeah...I'm really sorry guys. I need to change it and I plan on changing it, but that hasn't happened yet because I don't have much time on my hands, but I'm hoping that by the time I do another one of these posts I'll have at least something different up, and hopefully better.

Net Galley and Publishers:

I have already started reading Accession by Terah Eudun. I don't want to give too much away about my opinion so I'll just say it's interesting, take that which ever way you want. Thanks Net Galley and All Night Reads for the e-ARC copy!

I have to admit I requested this without realizing it was book 2 in a series. But I'm still super excited to read it because it has been forever since I've read an angel/Neph book and even longer since I've read a good one! Don't worry I'm going to get the first book and read it before I start Haze. Thanks Net Galley and Random House of Canada Limited for the e-ARC copy.

From Liberty Bay Books:

I went crazy and raided all their shelves and this is the result. I did attempt to contain myself and I think I did pretty well. 

Of Monsters and Madness: It's Gothic horror! What other reason do I need to want to read it? Oh, and one assistant is named Edgar and the other is named Allan Poe. Yes Jessica Verday really did that. I know. I too am torn between applauding and punching something. 

Tabula Rasa:  It had me at, "The Bourne Identity meets Divergent."  Two of the best things ever. What more could you want?

Suspicion: If the stunning cover and England setting isn't enough for you, then I don't know what your problem is. (Not really, it's ok that isn't enough for a lot of people, I just forgot what I was going to say so I said that instead.) One of the first lines of the synopsis is, "There's something hidden inside the Maze" and not only is that the first line of the synopsis, but it's the last words of the main character's father. That got me intrigued, I don't know about you.

Seeker:  The amazing cover and chilling sentence on the front caught my attention. ("The Truth Will End Them All.) Once I read the Synopsis, I knew I just had to read it.

Now That You're Here: I'm not really sure how I feel about this one. It seems like it will be kind of mind bending, and it is definitely weird, sorry unique, concept wise, but in what I hope is a good way. 

The Iron Trial: I don't really have favorite authors, or follow particular authors, but when I say Holly Black and Cassandra Clare's names on the same odd box I knew I had to see what it was. THE BOOK COMES IN IT'S OWN LITTLE GOLD AND SILVER CARD BOARD BOX. Can we just take a moment to appreciate this? And it opens on the front like little doors to reveal the book and instead of a cover it is a letter from the two authors talking about writing the book together! I just had to try it. 

Early Birthday Presents from Friends:

I have the best mom and friends ever. My mom had them come and surprise me for an early birthday get together and town wide (well...downtown wide) scavenger hunt! And being the sweet little nuggets that they are, they brought me presents! Willa and Max got me gift cards (AKA free books of my choice) one for Barnes and Nobel and the other for Liberty Bay Books!  My sweet little angel Catherine, bought me a copy of Rebel Belle! She had the good fortune of being able to peruse my TBR shelf on Goodreads for specific book ideas. ;) And yes, Catherine, you can borrow it when I'm done. x)

The Girl From The Well: I almost squealed out loud when I saw this one on the shelf! I've been dying to read it for months and finally it is in my grubby little hands! Amity got me all watered up for some more great horror and I'm hoping that The Girl From The Well will satisfy that need. 

Throne of Glass: I'm finally doing it guys. I finally convinced myself to at least buy Throne of Glass. I've been avoiding it as I frequently do with books that have a lot of hype, but so many of my friends loved it to pieces that I decided I'd at least eventually read it. I guess today is that eventually.

I went ahead and bought Shadows with the hopes of being able to read it real quick so that I can finish Haze in a timely manner.

Stacking The Shelves and Other Lovely Things.

I am linking up with Tynga @ Tynga's Reviews again this week! Ok so if you've been following and reading my posts for the past couple weeks, you've probably noticed that I've accumulated a ton of books. I have so many books to read right now that the phrase "a ton of books" might even be literal, I haven't measured. I feel really awful about it. I can't really get excited again about several of them and it's really stressing me out having so many sitting there just staring at me, reminding me that I should be reading them, not doing other more productive and let's face it more fun things! Which of course makes me avoid them all like the plague, even thought I'm actually really excited to read some of them! So sorry guys, I'll try to do better. I'm putting myself on a book ban, and I'm trying to force myself through a book a day, whether I think it still sounds exciting or not. I pinkey promise a whole lot more reviews will be coming your way in a bit, but first I have to take a blogging break and actually, you know read the books. Shocking and horrifying I know, but I promise everything will turn out ok.

Ok, this might be confusing. It's ok. I just said I'm on a book ban right? And that I have like a billion things to read before I can do anything else? Well, I may have accidentally  acquired some more books this week. It wasn't really an accident, but kind of, it was just the timing really. I recently joined Net Galley! Shocking I know, and truth be told I feel rather guilty about it because I have such a great thing going with Liberty Bay Books, but I was on a trip and needed more reading material and I realized in a few years I'll be at college, not near Liberty Bay, and I won't be able to steal all their books anymore. So I decided I could start building up my profile and "street cred" (Yes I just said street cred. Shhh, this is a judgement free zone....) on Net Galley so that if ( more like when) I'm still blogging in college I have the reputation built on Net Galley and with publishers so that I can still receive ARCs, and don't have to work on building it up right away/then/in the future/ in college and adult life. So yeah. I went bonkers and requested a bunch figuring that I'd be declined for like 99% of them at first, and I did get declined on a few, but then I got accepted for like three! Which is very exciting, but all of the sudden I have three books to read that come out in the next month or less, that need to be read and reviewed, but I'm supposed to be on a book ban! So yeah, that happened.

Amity is as horrifying as it gets and in case you didn't know this about me, I eat horror for breakfast. Thanks Entangled Publishing, LLC for the opportunity to try reading The Winter People. I'm sorry if my snark genius and passion was too much for you guys, I couldn't help it, there were too many feels, but I tried to be nice.

The cover and synopsis had me dying to get my hands on it. Also, the whole leaving gifts thing reminded me of the milk in Fablehaven and I totally loved that. My review of this is up on Goodreads and I'll be posting it here as well sometime in the next week, but it will probably be the same thing that's on Goodreads for the most part because I'm to lazy to write an entirely new one, also because I could and should be using that time for reading all my other stuff. Anyways, this one should be out around September 2nd.

Thanks Amazon Children's Publishing for the ARC! I don't really have anything brilliant or even just generic to say to you guys other than that yet...sorry?

I'm really excited about this one and I just started reading it so I'm excited to really dig into it. Also, I decided to try and pick up painting so I feel connected to it or something strange, cool, and philosophical like that. Yay for painting! I'm not really sure where this story is going to go or what things are going to get tied in, but I'm excited to find out. I feel the drama building already! This comes out September 12th-ish if I remember correctly. Goodreads!

 I also just remembered that my mom bought me a book because she's awesome like that. I didn't forget she bought me it, I just forgot that was this week. Don't judge me I have a lot going on up there. 

That's right! SHE GOT ME UNHINGED! I picked it out,but she dished out the money for it so it was a team effort. Anyways, this was a gift as a "thanks for being an awesome Auntie and helping out with the kiddos this past week." So thanks Mom, I'm glad you see me for being as awesome as I really am. That's good. I think we'll continue getting along well if this continues, praise, book buying, realization of my true awesomeness, you're doing good! ;) I love you mommy!

OTHER LOVELY THINGS! Right, so I mentioned we were going to talk about other lovely things, here we go, topic one: I'M SO SORRY!

I'm so, so, sorry that I forgot to post a Figments Friday yesterday! It totally slipped my mind!

Also, I'm sorry about all the crazy formatting due to the construction that is lasting longer than I anticipated. 

Topic two: promises! As I mentioned above I promise to post plenty more reviews this month. (Savor it because after that school hits and I have no time for reading, which makes me cry inside.) Also, I have a ton of exciting things coming up! Something exciting is starting on the 8th so get ready for that! (It's a very special day ;) ) I also have something special planned that will last a whole week! But as of now it is still top secret and I can't tell you guys more until it is closer to happening, but I promise it'll happen before the end of the month (at least that is the goal) and that you guy's will find it fun and helpful! 

Topic three: OPINIONS! I'm going to ask you guys for your opinions on a few things again.

 First off, what do you guys think of the new look? Good? Bad? Thumbs up or down? What should I change? (No formatting suggestions right now please, because I am working on fixing that stuff right now. I'm just asking about colors and aesthetics.) 

Secondly, do you guys like my discussion posts? Should I do more of them? Is there anything in particular you want me to discuss?

Thirdly, if you guys have topic recommendations or requests FOR ANY of my features let me know! I'd be excited to hear from you!

Fourthly, (that's a weird word fourthly...is that a word?) you may have noticed I've been playing around with how I format and write reviews. I'm going to link to a few of my different ways and I want you guys to tell me what you found easiest to read through and liked best. I like to use different formats for different books so I'm not promising that I'll use the most popular format 24/7 but it will help give me an idea of what's working.

First up we have Between The Spark and The Burn by April Genevieve Toucholke! I am SO excited about this one! I LOVED Between The Devil and The Deep Blue Sea (see my review here)! I thought it was kind of funny that I'd find the "conclusion" to it in the same place and about the same time as I found the first one. If you don't know the story here is the deal, almost a year ago (August 8th) I "partnered up" with my local book store Liberty Bay Books and was given access to their boxes of ARC and Galleys. On my first time digging through I found a copy of BTDaTDBS (sorry it was just way to long to keep doing this) and I kind of freaked out because I had been waiting to read it for over a year. Now as I approach my "partnerversary" with Liberty Bay Books I decided to dig through the boxes again and I just happen to find the conclusion to BTDaTDBS, which I didn't even know existed until that moment. It comes out next month and I am so flippin' excited to crack it open and devour it whole, and of course share with you guys what I thought of it all!

Next in my stack is a new release by Emily Lloyd-Jones titled Illusive! I'm not sure what I'll think of this one, but it sounds interesting. It is supposedly, " The X-Men meets Ocean's Eleven" and who could resist something with a premise like that? I'm excited mostly because it is something new. I don't read a whole lot of super hero/criminal stories and I hope this one will be everything I want it to be. 

Cait- When I picked this up and read the back I totally thought, "This sounds like something Cait would read/like..." and just know I went to get the Gooodreads link for it and saw that you have it on your TBR. I don't know how to feel about this...also, the thought mentioned above may have been a deciding factor in picking this up...

Inland by Kat Rosenfield caught my attention because it was described as, "The psychological labyrinth of a young woman’s insidious connection to the sea..." I don't know if you guys know this about me, but I LOVE psychology and am looking into majoring or minoring in it come college and eventually incorporating it in to what ever career I choose. So naturally this one caught my attention. I'm really interested in the concept, but I'm not sure how it's going to go down.

Where The Rock Splits The Sky by Philip Webb came out in March, but it sounded...interesting and different. To be honest I had NO idea what it was about when I picked it out. There was no synopsis on the ARC copy, only an excerpt about gold in eyes, but I chose to pick it up nonetheless, so I'm curious to see what it is really all about. (Yes I read the Goodreads synopsis, but still...sometimes the synopsis doesn't prepare you for what you read...)

Last but not least, we have Period 8 by Chris Crutcher. This book promised me raw emotion, issues with ethics, thrill, and controversy, all of my favorite things. The synopsis however makes it seem like it has a lot of potential take a head dive in the other direction.  I'm feeling conflicted about reading it...and yeah the cover might have played a small part in the decision (of whether or not to pick it)...I mean look at it! Can you blame me?

Salt & Storm: This one comes out September 23rd and I am SO excited to read it! Witches, romance, history, what's not to love?

The Bodies We Wear: September 23rd is the expected publication date on this one also. It sounds really intense and I'm excited to dig into something gritty.

Cruel Beauty: I've wanted to read this one for a really long time and I've heard great things about it so I was ecstatic to get to add it to my pile!

Sorrow's Knot:   This one sounded really interesting and quite unique, so why not, right?

Two Boys Kissing: I've yet to read a David Levithan book, but I've heard great things and I''m excited to finally read Two Boys Kissing. 

The Castle Behind Thorns: I usually love middle grade fiction...once I actually read it. I have issues deciding to read one, enjoy them once I do, but I find it hard to pick them up. I'm excited to dig into this one nonetheless.

Uncaged: Suzanne from Liberty Bay Books recommended that I read this one. I love mysteries so I'm looking forward to reading it and hoping it'll be great!

It feels like it has been forever since I've posted a stacking the shelves! I've been on a book buying/receiving ban. I have such a backlog of books that I haven't let myself get anything new, until this week. I wasn't planning on letting myself get anything new, but I needed something to read for out afternoon in the park so I stopped into Liberty Bay Books and allowed myself two ARCs.

I picked this one because it sounded awesome. I've already finished and reviewed it. You can see my review and final verdict here.

This one just sounded interesting and I haven't read anything like it, (I mean a family that runs a funeral home. Sounds cool right?!) but I definitely feel like it has a lot of potential to be really awful... We shall see!

I know, I know. I always post this on Saturdays if I post one at all. I promise it is not because the world is ending. (maybe... actually I can't promise that's not why, because, contrary to common belief,  I am simple muggle and don't posses that kind of omnipotence and knowledge.)

While we are on the topic of our imminent deaths and the inevitable death of our planet and life as we know it enjoy this song about our "impending doom"! (It rocks listen to more by Storyman.)

Anyways, back on track sorry, it is actually because I have this thing called a life, and I occasionally get delusional and attempt to live it to the fullest and actually do things and some times those things get in the way of posting on specific days. This is one of those crazy times. Yes, I know I could set it to post automatically but I don't trust it because it didn't post like I asked it to one time, since then I haven't trusted it with such important matters. Both of these sound mysterious, cool, and a little creepy with a heaping side of thrilling, so I'm very excited to start them! Vanishing Season. The Dark Between.

From The Local Library:

Look at that avalanche of loveliness! I am going to try reading The Bear and The Bell Jar as part of my challenge to read an "adult" book every month (or so). The Bear is not really what I'm used to reading but Cait from The Notebook Sisters recommended it so I'm going to give it a whirl, we tend to like a lot of the same books so I trust her judgement! ;) I've been wanting to read The Bell Jar for a while because it sounds very intense and very cool, in White Space the main character Emma, frequently refers to the book and it's great importance to her, which reminded me that I kind of wanted to read it. I am so flippin' excited to read The Replacement! The cover is absolutely to die for and the concept sounds too awesomesauce for words! It was on my list of the top 14 books I'm excited to read in 2014 and I'm thrilled to finally get to read it! OCD Love Story and The Princess in The Opal Mask were new to me and I'm not really certain what I got myself into but I am excited to try something a little different from what I've been reading lately. By the way isn't the cover of OCD Love Story ridiculously cute!?! It says ,"I will not stalk that boy" all over it!

Audio Books:

Words in The Dust and Max are steps outside of my "normal zone," but my mom thought they seemed interesting and since she also has to listen to them I thought I'd give 'em a whirl. Beastly just sounds fun. I have been a bit obsessed with Beauty and The Beast and retellings of it since I read Grim, so I'm very excited to see what this version is like and I'm excited to look at the story from a new perspective! Ah, Between The Devil and The Deep Blue Sea...yes, I've already read it (see my review here) and I LOVED it and wish to have it's children (not really that's gross and weird and just no. To me anyways.). I'll have a lot of time on my hands, and a long car ride so I wasn't about to pass up the chance to relive the story, share it with my cousin and my mom, and see if the person reading it makes it sound more cool than it did in my head the first time! 

Obtained/Gifted/Earned:

Ok so, because my library is made of awesomesauce, they give you little gifts for reading certain amounts over the summer. Once you've read your first 10 hours you get to pick a free book off this special shelf (and you get a ticket to the county fair but who cares about that when you are getting a free book, I mean really. Priorities people! Don't get me wrong I appreciate the ticket, but I might just appreciate the book a titch more...) So a big shout out thank you to KRL for the book and having such an amazing program going on! I picked I Hunt Killers, because it has been on my TBR list for a while now, and as we established in a previous Stacking the Shelves post, I have a slight obsession with crime and mystery books, movies, TV shows, ect.
So that's my little pile of heaven I've obtained this week! What did you get?

Stacking the Shelves

I'm so sorry that I've been gone for so long guys! I've had a lot of family stuff going on the past few weeks and there has just been too much going on to get a post in. My goal is to get at least three posts up this week. No promises, but I will try really hard. Now for all the good stuff...

I had nothing to read for a few days and I had been wanting to read Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell for forever, so I asked Catherine to loan her copy to me, and Catherine, being one of the most awesomesauce best friends ever, complied. So thanks Catherine! I love you! I promise one of my posts in the next week of two will be a review of it.

See? No icky glare! I haven't heard of any of these books before so it should be an adventure reading them. I'm most excited about Rockoholic and Wickedpedia. Rockoholic sounds like it's going to be a riot and just beautiful and Wickedpedia is another murder mystery book and I always love a good mystery!I don't really know what Loud Awake and Lost is going to be like yet, but the synopsis sounded pretty cool. Comment or contact me with what you've heard about it or if you've read it what you thought about it if you have any thing to share about it. I'd love to hear it. Pointe sounded interesting enough as well, we'll see I guess.

I decided to stop in at my local library today because I haven't been in forever and I am so excited about all of these!

Then Alienated and Control:

It was a beautiful moment for me. These have all been on my TBR for a while and I am so flippin' excited to read them. Diamond over at Dee's Reads just did a review of Grim (see it here) so I am excited to read it and compare notes so to speak. I had wanted to read Splintered before but only a little bit, but then Cait and Mime from the Notebook Sisters read it and constantly gush about it and the rest of the series. We have a similar taste, so their reviews and gushing made me want to read it even more. (Read Mime's original review here and Cait's here.) Cait also read Alienated, as well as Zoe from The Infinite to Read Shelf, and Clarissa from Books Equal Awesomeness they all gave it pretty good ratings on Goodreads and most of my other friends on Goodreads have marked it to read. Plus, it sounds like it has a really interesting story line. 

You might recognize Control from my 2014 post where I listed 14 books that I was looking forward to reading in 2014. 

I want to read the library books first since they actually have due dates, but I want your help picking what one to start next, so what'll it be? Vote!

Stacking The Shelves

I finished my haul from last week and took the opportunity to restock my shelves once again, courtesy of Liberty Bay Books! Thanks guys, I love you!

Again I apologize for the poor picture quality. One of these days I will take a good picture of my books. Apparently today is not that day. 

I've had Dorothy Must Die and Uninvited  on my TBR list for a while now, but I've been a little bit hesitant to read them. Heart Beat, End Times, Nearly Gone, and Proxy were all wild cards. Heart Beat isn't usually my kind of book, but it sounded interesting, so I wanted to try it. End Times is something else entirely, but hey, who doesn't love a good apocalyptic fiction? The cover and premise sort of reminds me of Not a Drop to Drink. I'm excited to read Nearly Gone, because I never really get to read mystery type books, but I really enjoyed the last one I read. Plus, it is supposedly "Bones meets Fringe" and Bones is one of my all time favorite TV shows. I'm not really sure how I will feel about Proxy. It seems interesting, but I'm just not sure. I'm still excited nonetheless. I had to laugh when I got them, because when I got in the car with my bag of books my exchange sister asked to look through them. That was fine with me so she read the synopsis for each of them and then turned to me with kind of a strange look on her face. "These books are all about death and killing!" she said. I started to deny it, but then I realized in each book some one died and pretty much every single one of the books centered around that death. So yay books about death! Everyone has to have a thing right?

Speaking of death, my cousin loaned me, and forced me, to read the Fault in Our Stars this week as well. I will save everything I have to say about that for a review. Reviews for the rest of the books I read last week will come soon-ish as well.
