Sweet Evil

Sweet Evil

by Wendy Higgins

Embrace the Forbidden

What if there were teens whose lives literally depended on being bad influences?

This is the reality for sons and daughters of fallen angels.

Tenderhearted Southern girl Anna Whitt was born with the sixth sense to see and feel emotions of other people. She’s aware of a struggle within herself, an inexplicable pull toward danger, but Anna, the ultimate good girl, has always had the advantage of her angel side to balance the darkness within. It isn’t until she turns sixteen and meets the alluring Kaidan Rowe that she discovers her terrifying heritage and her willpower is put to the test. He’s the boy your daddy warned you about. If only someone had warned Anna.

Forced to face her destiny, will Anna embrace her halo or her horns?

This book is another one of those that is just plain A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and there is just no other way to describe it and do it justice. Where Wendy got the idea for this book I have no idea it is so original which I love there is just no other book quite like it out there. Now I know you are probably thinking *snore* another Angel or Nephilim or Fallen Angel book blah blah blah they are all the same to the point where they all just get boring. Well, I am here to tell you that you HAVE to read this book and that it has a story line like no other and that you will be sooooo glad you read it when you do 'cause it's just that amazing. Wendy's writing is so passionate and well done that you will be holding your breath with every suspense full heart-string-tugging moment and your heart racing right along with the loveable Anna. Anna's personality and inward struggle embodies what pretty much every teen feels at least once in their life their struggle between doing what’s right and what’s "cool," between what their mind wants and what their heart wants, making teens connect with her instantly. Anna's character development is much subtler than Kaidan's in my opinion and I find that when I think about it if hers had been any more obvious it would have ruined the book. I really don’t know what else to say about this book other than it is amazing and an absolute MUST read! 5 out of 5 stars!
