I'm back from the dead! Sort of...I'm still living it up without internet (I snuck away today for this post), so there has been a lack of promised posting and there will continue to be a lack for a tad bit longer. Sorry! At least I'm reading things so I can review them when I get back!
Today I promised a surprise, so a surprise you shall have! By now most of you know all about my partnership with my local book store Liberty Bay Books. I partnered up with them a year ago today! That's right it has officially been a year since I talked to the owner, Suzanne and she let me pillage their boxes of ARCs, in exchange for an honest review of them with links to the store, and signed me up as an affiliate so that I get a little bit of proceeded each time one of you guys buys books from links to them on my blog. (I use the money to fund giveaways and other stuff. 100% of it goes back to you guys!) So yeah, I love Suzanne and Liberty Bay Books, and all of their employees, they are pretty awesome. Here is to another great year and many more to come!
I ran into Suzanne the other day and she had a great idea/offer for me. She wanted to have me host a giveaway of some of my favorite ARCs that I've borrowed from them for my US readers! (Sorry internationals, I will do one for you this year.) So here we are! I present to you the Love Stacks give away! This time there are two mini stacks that I'm giving away, but if it goes well this time, Suzanne wants me to do more of these giveaways! So the more of you that enter the greater the chance that there will be a whole lot more of these in the future!
P.S. These ARCs have been read, and may already be published, but they are in near perfect condition, no damage what so ever. My books are my babies, I take care of them, also I'm polite enough to only pass on things in the best quality.

Aww! Thanks! Yeah it is definitely unique and it is really nice! I love popping in there and raiding their stash, as well as talking with all of the employees and Suzanne about recent reads, books, events, ect.. Although, I do feel a little awkward at times, I always worry a customer will think I'm just like stealing half of the store's inventory or something some day.

That's so cool that you get to team up with Suzanne! What a fun relationship, and you get the pick of ARCs!? You lucky dog! Oh my gosh Salt & Storm and Between the SPark and the Burn! Oh my heart can't take it! I really want to read both of those book so badly!!! I entered into both, but I really REALLY want to win that one lol!
ReplyDeleteAs for my latest five star reads, I have to say Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover was amazing. LOVED it! I also ended up reading Maybe Someday by her which was also good. Ummm The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen was also excellent as well as Stolen Songbird by Danielle L. Jensen was fantastic! You should check out all of those book! :) Thanks for letting me know about this giveaway since I didn't see it.
Thank you! Yes! I'm very lucky! Basically I go in and sift through their stacks and boxes of ARCs and borrow what I want, bringing them back when I'm done, along with my opinions and give suggestions on what they should stock and what they should leave on someone else's shelves. I know! I LOVED them both especially Salt and Storm! Haha, I'm glad you entered! I wish you the best of luck! ;)
